Description
- LOCALLY SOURCED MATERIAL The building materials are locally sourced. Some of the material is recycled such as walls with tyre infill.
- GREEN ROOF All the roofs have been made green. This provides additional surface for water retention while keeping the interiors cool.
- ENERGY-NEUTRAL The solar panels on the roof generate sufficient electricity for the homes, making them energy-neutral.
- NATURAL LANDSCAPE The paths connecting the homes are designed as nature trails with local plants.
-EARTHSHIP HOUSES They are self-built earth homes. It is based on the concept of self-sufficent homes devised by Michael Reynolds.
