    -COMMUNITY COURTYARD The large courtyard forms the heart of this low-rise ecological co-housing development.

  • HELOPHYTE FILTER Helophyte filter consisting of reed beds helps filter the blackwater from the development which is then re-used for flushing toilets.
  • CENTRAL WADI The central garden is a wadi or seasonal water bed. It is used to collect rainwater, while at other times it is used for play
  • PERMACULTURE GARDEN Permaculture garden allows residents to grow their own food.
  • CHILD-FRIENDLY Several play zones have been created within the vast courtyard including this sand pit lined with wooden logs
