Description
- It is a schoolyard that has been transformed into a climate-adaptive yard. - The playground which was formerly finished with concrete has been redesigned to include more softscape and paved areas. -The large playground is divided into smaller play zones catering to both active play as well as informal interactions amongst the children. -The landscape is manipulated to create a multi-level yard. Some areas are raised with short walls and infill to create play “forts”. - Greenery in incorporated throughout in the form of native shrubs and trees. this supports biodiversity while also creating a place of enrichment for children. -The various zones have been designed to facilitate outdoor learning.
