    -COMMUNITY GREEN SQUARE This large square is located at the heart of Valby Maskinfabrik. It forms a recreational park that can be enjoyed by residents and public alike.

  • SENSORY URBAN SPACE The varied materiality of the zones in the square encourages uers to interact with it in different ways. While softscape is ideal for picnics, gravel areas encourage movement.
  • PUBLIC SEATING Concrete benches are integrated into the landscape
  • ACTIVITY ZONES The 45 metre wide square is delineated into various zones through its zig-zag design.This zone is a sand pit for children.
  • INDUSTRIAL HERITAGE Some of the buildings of the formerly industrial site have been retained as local identity markers.
