    -ECOLOGICAL RESTORATION An existing waterbody

  • the Gohards stream was restored.It forms an ecological axis for the development.
  • PHYTOREMEDIATION The stream collects rainwater from the development through swales and rain gardens. It is treated naturally with plants(phytoremediation).
  • WOODEN DECKS Small wooden decks accessed via steps, provide areas for informal interaction as and picnics. They provide an area where one can enjoy the water.
  • STEPPING STONES Stepping stones are provided across the stream, providing an area for playing with the water.
  • FOOTBRIDGES Fords & footbridges provide areas for recreation and interaction.They also provide crossings between the public path and semi-private residential street on the other side.
