Description

-LOW-RISE DISTRICT The buildings of the district are low-rise with windows facing the street. This creaes “eyes on the street” and fosters a sense of community.

  • SAFE RESIDENTIAL LANE The streets between homes are for pedestrians only. The close-knit arrangement of homes creates a safe lane.
  • PERMEABLE STREET Permeable paving is used all around the street allowing for water infiltration
  • SOFT BARRIER Soft barriers such as hedges and short fences are used to seperate compounds. They help improve sense of community as opposed to solid compound walls.
